New CEO appointed

Martin Persson has been appointed CEO of Tyrolit Construction Sweden AB. With more than 20 years of experience within the company, he takes on the role with responsibility for the continued development of the business in Lindome, Sweden. At the same time, CFO Mattias Samuelsson has been appointed Deputy CEO. Together, they will continue to lead the organization as part of the Tyrolit Group, while the Scanmaskin and Scanmineral brands continue to be developed within the company.

In his previous role, Martin Persson played a central part in the development of the company’s machine program. He was originally hired to develop the machine fleet and has contributed to several key products, including the Scanmaskin 18, Scanmaskin 330, and the larger remote-controlled floor grinders within the World Series program. His work has been an important part of the company’s long-term product development.

Mattias Samuelsson joined as CFO in 2021 and has since played an important role in developing the company’s financial governance and internal processes, including the further development of the ERP system to better support the needs of the business.

The new management team brings together broad operational expertise, financial competence, and a strong understanding of market requirements. This creates favourable conditions for further developing the company’s offering and strengthening its position within the segment.

Together, Martin Persson and Mattias Samuelsson will lead the company into its next phase of development.

The company is also strengthening its development and innovation capabilities through recruitment within product development and innovation. In his role as CEO, Martin Persson will provide strategic guidance to ensure that development efforts are aligned with future customer needs and the company’s long-term ambitions.

Paulo Bergstrand remains a board member of the company and will also continue in his role as Sales Director Floor Grinding and Surface Preparation within the Tyrolit Group. “This change is a natural step in further developing Tyrolit Construction Sweden AB as part of the Tyrolit Group. With Martin and Mattias in leadership positions, we strengthen the conditions for continued development and long-term growth. Effective from May 1, 2026, Scanmaskin and Scanmineral will be consolidated into a new joint company, Tyrolit Construction Sweden AB. This change means a new company name and registration number, but for you as a customer, everything continues as usual – with the same products, services, and contacts in Lindome. The brands and products Scanmaskin and Scanmineral will remain, which is important for us to clarify.

We would like to inform you that, as of May 1, 2026, Scanmaskin and Scanmineral will operate under the joint company name Tyrolit Construction Sweden AB.

Since January 2025, Scanmaskin and Scanmineral have been part of the Tyrolit Group. As a natural next step in this development, the companies are now being merged into a single entity. The previous parent company, Scanmaskin Holding, has simultaneously changed its name to Tyrolit Construction Sweden AB, forming the new joint company. Later this year, the Swedish operations of Tyrolit Division Bygg & Anläggning will also be integrated.

The purpose of this change is to simplify administration and coordination – both internally and in our interactions with you as a customer. For you, this does not affect day-to-day operations. You will continue to work with the same staff, the same contacts, and the same range of products – or even an expanded offering. Business will continue as usual from Lindome. The brands and products Scanmaskin and Scanmineral will remain, which is important for us to clarify.

As the companies are now being brought together, clear customer benefits are created in the form of a broader product range, a single consolidated invoice, and a simpler purchasing process. Email addresses will be changed at a later stage, and information about this will be communicated in due course. Our phone numbers and visiting address remain unchanged.

All of our staff remain in the organization, and there are no changes to employment. We are in a growth phase, having strengthened the organization over the past year, with further recruitments planned.
